Used clothing grades: cream, Grade A, B and C
Used clothing grades tell the buyer what to expect inside the bale before opening it. Here all the stock passes through the hands of experienced operators, who divide it by category and split it by grade. It is sold by the kilo, by grade, to VAT-registered businesses: importers, wholesalers and resellers.
Hand sorting, piece by piece
Stock arrives in large volumes and is opened in the warehouse. From there operators divide it by category (men, women, children) and by type (knitwear, trousers, shirts, outerwear, footwear, accessories), and by season where needed. As they divide, they judge each piece by eye: fabric condition, stains, tears, wear and brand presence. It is a quick call, repeated thousands of times a day, and it is the skill that separates good sorting from mediocre sorting.
We do not wash, iron or photograph the single garment, and we do not make clothing: that is retail work. Hygiene is handled upstream and in bulk, with ozone treatment of all the stock (regional authorization, fully compliant). Fumigation is a different matter: it sanitizes the container or truck shell and is carried out by an external company.

Cream · Grade A
The best items by condition, cleanliness and season. The most requested band, the one that sells fastest.
Vintage
Period pieces and sought-after items, today among the most requested on markets that value sorted used clothing.
Y2K (2000s)
The Y2K look, a category in strong demand right now, sorted by type.
Branded
Selected branded items, kept apart from the rest for buyers who want this band.
Grade B and C
Second and third choice: goods still good and sellable, with lower characteristics, at more accessible prices.
Items beyond recovery leave the sales flow and go to textile recycling or industrial wiping rags: nothing is thrown away without first looking for a destination.
Sorted stock only, never unsorted original lots
In the trade, "original" lots are unsorted goods, collected as they are, sold by the kilo to those who prefer to do their own sorting. We do not work this way. We sell only sorted stock, divided by grade and category, because the value of a container is decided at the sorting stage. We do the sorting ourselves, piece by piece, rather than passing it to the customer: what you order is what you open.
Formats, orders and shipping
Once sorted, the stock is pressed and packed into bales divided by grade and type, then loaded into containers and exported from the port of Naples. Terms are EXW, FOB Naples or CIF depending on the customer.
Bales 38–80 kg
38, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 80 kg. The most requested for Africa.
Shoe sacks
Dedicated sacks, kept separate from clothing.
Large bales
Bigger volumes, typical for India and Pakistan.
Bags on request
For smaller quantities, when needed.

About the quality grades
What is the difference between the grades?
Grades indicate the level of sorting and the average condition of the items. Cream holds the best by condition and season; vintage, Y2K and branded are popular sorts by type; Grade B and C hold goods that still sell but with lower characteristics, at lower prices.
What does cream quality mean?
Cream is top-choice sorted stock, the equivalent of Grade A: the best items by condition, cleanliness and seasonality, the most requested band. It is hand-sorted by our operators, not an unsorted lot.
Can I combine different grades and categories?
Yes. The container is built with the grades and categories your market needs, in the formats you prefer. Tell us grades, categories, formats and volumes and we prepare the load.
Why don't you sell original lots?
Because sorting is our work. We sell only sorted stock divided by grade, so you know what you open before the container arrives. We do the sorting ourselves.
Does the standard stay the same between loads?
Yes. Every grade follows repeatable criteria applied by the same experienced operators. You reorder the same grade and find the same kind of goods, container after container.
