Used clothing export by container

We load containers of sorted used clothing and ship them for export mainly from the port of Naples. We sell by the kilo and by quality grade to registered businesses: importers, wholesalers and retailers. You choose grades, formats and market; we prepare the load, sanitise it, handle the documents and ship it out. Three generations, since 1985.

From warehouse to container

One partner, from order to departure

The goods are opened and sorted by hand by category, type and quality grade, then sanitised, pressed and packed in the formats your market needs. From there they are loaded into containers and ship out. For the buyer the benefit is practical: you receive goods already processed and loaded, and you only have to sell them. You do not handle collection, sorting or load planning.

Grades and sorting

Sorted only, never raw lots

All the goods pass through our operators hands. Each grade follows a repeatable standard, so you know what to expect before you even open the bales, container after container.

The packing your market needs

Format and make-up are agreed based on the destination market and the container capacity.

Customs, hygiene and logistics

Sanitisation, documents and terms

For the importer the issue is not only the goods: it is the paperwork and logistics. If one of these steps fails, the container is held at the port and the cost rises. Here is how we handle them.

Ozone sanitisation

The goods are sanitised with an ozone treatment, under regional authorisation and in line with the law. It applies to the whole load, not garment by garment.

Container fumigation

This is about the shell, not the garments: it sanitises the container or truck body. A specialised external company does it when the market requires it.

Export documents

We prepare detailed documentation for the destination. Clearance on arrival remains with the importer.

EXW / FOB / CIF terms

EXW ex warehouse, FOB port of Naples, or CIF up to your port. You choose based on how you are set up.

FAQ

Export by container: common questions

What is the minimum order quantity?

We work by full containers (20 or 40 foot) for export. The make-up of the load, grades, categories and bale sizes, is agreed case by case. For Italian customers who pick up, smaller quantities are possible. Tell us the volumes you move and we will say what is feasible.

Which terms do you offer: EXW, FOB or CIF?

All three. EXW (ex warehouse): you collect the goods from us and handle transport and formalities. FOB port of Naples: we bring the goods to the port and load them, you arrange vessel and insurance. CIF port of destination: we arrange sea freight and insurance up to your port. The choice depends on how you are set up and on your market.

Is the clothing sanitised? Do you also fumigate?

The goods are sanitised with an ozone treatment, under our regional authorisation and in line with Italian law. Fumigation is a different thing: it sanitises the shell, that is the container or the truck body, and is carried out by a specialised external company when the destination market requires it.

Which documents do you provide for customs clearance?

We prepare detailed export documentation for the destination, so the goods travel without customs problems. Clearance on arrival remains the importer responsibility, as is standard practice in international trade, but we provide everything needed on the departure side.

Who can buy and how are prices set?

We sell only to registered businesses: importers, wholesalers and retailers. You buy by the kilo and by quality grade; the price per kilo depends on the grade and category you choose. Request a quote with your market, the grades and the volumes.
